Meet Our Principal
Dear Families,
Welcome to the 2020-21 school year! It is my great honor to serve
as the principal of Bethune Community School. I have had the pleasure of
working for Minneapolis Public Schools for the last 21 years as a teacher,
instructional coach, assistant principal and as a principal at Northrop
Community School before coming to Bethune.
I am very passionate about children and have the strong belief
that all children can learn. My vision for Bethune is to make this the
best place for children. I am committed to creating an environment where all
members of our community are inspired to contribute to the academic and social
growth of every student.
I am honored to have the opportunity to work with you so that we
can meet the needs of your child. My main goal is to support the
students, families and staff of this wonderful community. Please do not
