Hello.  My name is Ms. Monsour.
This is my third year teaching 3rd grade at Bethune, and I love it!  

I've taught in Minneapolis for 20+ years at Bancroft, Holland, Putnam, Longfellow and Bethune. My experience is in grades One through Five.

I attended the University of Minnesota, St. Catherine's University; and, St. Mary's University of Winona where I earned a Masters Degree in Integrative Curriculum.

Homework is given Monday through Thursday in both Math and Language Arts.  Students earn points and rewards for homework completed.
Homework reinforces what was taught during the daily lessons, and it is very important that students complete all homework assignments.

If your child will be taking a different bus home other than assigned bus, your child will need a note to be given to the Office.

I expect great things, great learning, and great attitude! I know the 2012 - 2013 school year will be a wonderful and productive year for 3rd grade.
