The Assistance League has scheduled Bethune uniform distribution for September 9. All students will be bussed over with their teachers to the Davis Center to receive uniforms.
A State of the School Address will be presented at the Title 1 meeting. Parents and families, students, and community members are invited. Details will be added on this page as the date nears.
With the school year fast approaching, the Bethune Staff would like to remind parents/guardians that the first day of school for grades 1 through 5 is on AUGUST 29, and the first day of school for kindergarten is on AUGUST 31.
Bethune Community School will be offering an ice cream social for all returning students and their families. This event is an opportunity for students to meet their teachers for the upcoming year. In addition, parents/guardians will have the opportunity to connect with those teachers and learn more about Bethune Community School.
Breaking Bread Cafe and Catering (a program for Appetite for Change) located in North Minneapolis is very happy to showcase the great artwork from the kids at Bethune Community School throughout the 2016-17 school year!
